All major documented revivals were marked by believers gathering for prayer with no regard to their normal social or church boundaries. In an attitude of humility and repentance, businessmen alongside housewives and students would gather, often times around noon, dedicating their lunch hours to seek the Lord.
These gatherings were often marked by the diversity of those gathered, the unity displayed and the disregard for distinctions by church affiliation, race, gender, age or socio-economic status. The Prayer Clinic offers a setting in which this can happen. From noon to 2:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, our back prayer room is open for corporate prayer.
We saw what Jesus could do with the lunch of a little boy freely given. What might he do with the lunch hours of his children if we were to place them in His hands?
